About the Author
Ray Downen is a native Texan who has lived most of his life in Joplin, Missouri. He is a graduate of Ozark Bible College with a ministerial B.A. degree, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, and has a wide variety of life experiences. His first published tract came in 1950 while still a college student. He has been writing ever since. Ray has also been a preacher, involved with numerous revivals, hosts an e-mail discussion group through his website http://www.missionoutreach.org/, and he is the author of a series PROPER BIBLE UNDERSTANDING (leads to Christian Unity). His study on Revelation sold more than 2,000 copies. His latest work, WERE YOU RAISED INTO NEW LIFE WITH CHRIST speaks to the opportunity for any sinner to seek salvation in Jesus Christ, entering and enjoying fellowship with Him in His body, which is the Christian church family.
