Endearing and enchanting,

I left the movie theatre after seeing this show, and immediately went and bought this soundtrack. Gratefully, it is faithful collection of all the wonderful, inspiring numbers, not all soundtracks are this complete. There are even added incidental vocal elements.
Like the film, the soundtrack is captivating, and inspiring. Appropriate theme and notes repeated, threaded throughout. I cannot even begin to imagine the process of adding the lyrics to the score. Finding the bits and pieces of Shakespeare quotes from Midsummer Night's Dream, and assembling them all piecemeal to create rousing, stellar numbers is mind boggling. There is simply no way this work will get the attention it deserves. Tanner Cohen, Nathaniel David Becker, and Zelda Williams are all excellent, and Wendy Robie's voice stands out on every number she is in. Cohen especially is simply extraordinary, the star in fact, as well as billing, with a rich full. See this show; buy this soundtrack!

I saw this movie expecting to see a cheesy low-grade musical. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised to say the least. I had to watch it again, to really get the feel for it, and I still was left with a smile on my face. The cast is outstanding, and the vocal range of Tanner Cohen is amazing. A low-budget indie film, truly rivals high-budget movie/musical spectaculars. Not a lot of fancy special effects, yet it doesn't take away from the beautiful cinematography. I would absolutely recommend this movie to anyone who truly is interested in listening to beautiful vocal as well as instrumental arrangements. The cast is wonderful and truly fit their parts well. I'm gonna order the soundtrack right away. It is a feast for the eyes and the ears.

I'm not really the kind of person who buys movie soundtracks, but this one was a must-have for me. My copy of this movie arrived in the mail this morning and I watched it tonight. As soon as I finished it (watched the ending twice), I ran to the computer to get this soundtrack. It's really quite good - if you like the movie, you'll enjoy having the music.

As soon as I bought and saw Were The World Mine I knew I had to have the soundtrack. I sure am delighted that I did. Some of the songs we want to hear like Relax, Take It Easy are not on the CD but I think the soundtrack recreates the movie in your mind. I put it on shuffle on my I-Pod and it's glorious to hear a snippet or song between my other music.
Tanner Cohen is an excellent actor. Then to hear him sing was pure gold. The soundtrack is music and dialogue mixed right "on the dime." If you haven't seen Were The World Mine then see it. All the characters are so well casted. The story has depth and keeps you caring. You'll keep hearing a gorgeous voice in your head singing, "We fairies...." and your mind will feel clandestine. I think the Movie Were The World Mine soundtrack is a must-have to accompany the DVD which is quite a delightful movie and made Tanner Cohen become an instant star by being in it.

The cast of the wonderful 'Were the World Mine' do an outstanding performance of the music with beautiful voices, great delivery, and memorable melodies and harmony. The music is rumbling through my head for weeks. As the lead, Tanner Cohen has an amazing range and gorgeous head tone.
The original Shakespeare is somewhat adapted or changed in this production: for example, the rugby captain doesn't seem to have any reason for singing "make a heaven of hell", and Puck makes a great todo of "I'll throw a girdle round the earth in forty minutes", but it all comes together in a great joyous celebration.

A Good Buy, representative of the movie,

The soundtrack has several good pieces from the movie, including vocal pieces as well as instrumentals. I was dissappointed though that one of the songs from the credits was missing. Several of the songs were altered or expanded from their movie version and were clearly designed specifically for the soundtrack.

Love the movie and love the CD - listen to it at work all the time. It is interspursted with lines from the movie. Also like that the songs go in sequential order that ti occurs in the film.

I loved this movie so much, so I just had to get the CD for it. I loved hearing it, but was dissapointed by how short it was. There was less than an hour of music on the disc, but still it was very good hearing all the songs and backround music, and even lines here and there from the movie. If you liked the movie, then you will love this CD, however, I wish they would have added a couple of more original songs that weren't in the movie to it to make it longer, that was my only complaint with it.
