I think you should read Werewolf Skin. It is excellent. The part where Jack saved his grandparents was O.K. I liked the part at the end, it was scary.

Alex Hunter just moved to Wolf Creek to stay with his aunt and uncle. They are photographers,
or so they say. There is a story about Wolf Creek,
it has its own Werewolf! And Alex wants to find
out if its true. Bad decision, dude! But late one
night, on Haloween, when the moon is full... he
finds out. But he wishes he hasn't!!!

This GOOSEBUMPS book, Werewolfn Skin, is one of the best GOOSEBUMPS books.Alex Hunter is a photography freak. His mum and dad have to be at a business job in Atlanta. So Alex has to stay at his aunt Marta and uncle Colin's house in Wolf Creek. Aunt Marta and uncle colin are proffesional photographers. Aunt Marta and uncle Colin only have 2 requests. Don't go in the woods late at night and don't go to the Marlins' house next door. The house which is rundown and broken. Then Alex meets Hannah, a friend Alex met whie staying at wolf creek. But Alex is having a bad time at Wolf Creek. Because Alex knows a secret. Aunt Marta and uncle Colin are werewolves. And the Marlings don't exist. Aunt Marta and uncle Colin hide their werewolf skin there. And late at night, aunt Marta and uncle Colin get the werewolf skin and put it on. Then they howl at the moon and turn into ... Werewolves. I really like Werewolf Skin a lot!

Revew,
This review is from: Werewolf Skin (Goosebumps, No 60) (Paperback)
The book took a long time to arrive but once it did, it was in good condition, with minimal damage (this was a used copy). The story was okay but not one of my son's favorite Goosebumps books.

Camera shy wolves,

Alex is staying with his aunt Marta and uncle Colin in Wolf Creek for a few weeks. He loves taking pictures and hopes to learn from his relatives, both of whom are professional photographers. He is warned to stay away from the strange neighbours next door, the Marlings, as well as avoiding the woods at night.
One night he finds that he forgot his camera in the woods earlier that day, and he leaves the house to go find it. He sees something he shouldn't have seen... This is another nice Goosebumps book.

Way Too Awesome,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Werewolf Skin (Goosebumps, No 60) (Paperback)
Out of all of the Goosebumps books I read Werewolf Skin has got to be one of the best. It is different from werewolf stories I've heard. It is scary, and pretty gory. But it is very good. My favorite part is when Alex goes into the woods and hears and sees scary things, and then the next morning, everyone starts talking about werewolves. It does have an unexpected ending. I thought it was going to be about a kid who goes to his aunt and uncle's house and hears howling and gets suspicious. But it is way better than that.

This is a fun book but real scary. You want to put it down to not read the bad stuff but you just can't.... you must find out what happens next. If you haven't read it... you must.

First of all, to people who don't like Goosebumps because its not scary. What do you expect? It's for 7 - 12 year old kids, meaning not very frightening but a mysterious ending. Goosebumps is a mystery book in a sort way, because every time you read goosebumps series, you wonder how the storyline is going to be connected to the ending. I started to read goosebumps at the age of 8, and never once did I thought goosebumps was scary. (I read almost every book of the Original Goosebumps Series). But I still love goosebumps, and R.L.Stine is the authour that made me wanting to be an authour. So the bottom line is, don't read goosebumps if you want chill on your back. If you want a chill, I'd say watch the movie "The Grudge". LOL!
Anyways, this book is one of the bests in R.L.Stine's Goosebumps books. I won't give the good parts away like the person before me did, but here's a bit of a summary. Alex Hunter is a photography freak, and he has to stay at Wolf Creek where his Uncle Colin and Aunt Marta lives, because his parents had to fly to France for business. The cool part is, his aunt and uncle is a professional photographers. He meets Hannah, who lives next door. And she tells Alex about the werewolfs... She saids that Alex's other next door, Marlings, are werewolfs. Poor Alex. He just wanted to take a couple of pictures. But now he's about to find out the secret of Wolf Creek. When the moon is full... This book won't be the same without the awesome ending. A 5 star from me, and if you're lucky, you might get a terrifying(?) werewolf mask inside! |
