5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Stepladder!
This is a great stepladder! It's strong, sturdy, and easy to handle. The tray holds paint cans, rollers, and other tools, keeping them within easy reach while you're using the stepladder. The paint can hook is a helpful feature, too. This stepladder was a valuable tool for me when I recently painted the interior of my home. The stepladder feels very sturdy yet it...

3.0 out of 5 stars not too heavy
Single mom needed to reach 12 ft ceilings and carry upstairs. This one wasn't too heavy for me. Wanted the Little Giant style but they were all super heavy. This works, but doesn't feel all that sturdy. [...]

The paint can hook is a helpful feature, too. This stepladder was a valuable tool for me when I recently painted the interior of my home. The stepladder feels very sturdy yet it weighs less than 20 pounds. It's a good height - 8' - so it's just right for my around-the-house projects. I'm very pleased with this product!

...just go to your local Home Depot and get it for $63 rather than almost $200.

4.0 out of 5 stars Werner 250-lb ladder, November 23, 2008
This review is from: Werner 365 250-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Stepladder, 5-Foot (Tools & Home Improvement)
This product is very acceptable for everyday use doing home remodeling, cleaning etc. Reasonably priced for good quality. Obviously not suitable for a very heavy person.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving This Ladder!, September 16, 2011
This is such a handy ladder. I bought it to change lightbulbs in my tall ceilings, and I adore the two "resting places" for stuff. The fold-out shelf is perfect for holding lightbulbs, as well as drills, screwdrivers, paint, etc. As I changed bulbs, I put the used ones on top and the new ones were on the shelf, so I didn't have to keep making extra trips up and down the ladder.

It's not heavy, looks nice, and the price was significantly cheaper elsewhere in person... like, less than half of the price here. At that cheaper price, it feels like a bargain.

It isn't the sturdiest-feeling ladder in the world, but I think it just takes common sense not to overextend yourself. It serves my purposes perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value, good ladder., July 16, 2011

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Really have no complaints about this ladder. It's a sturdy, well-made, lightweight ladder that does exactly what a ladder is supposed to do: get you higher up without moving and wiggling. I admit to having a wee fear of heights but I feel quite secure going up to the last step on this thing. You need a 6-foot ladder for household chores, etc.? This is the thing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Tool Crib bad service initially, but they came through, September 8, 2004
By
Tool Crib gave me a very hard time with the pricematch, but after a few emails I finally got to someone who worked with me. Lets say the first few people I worked with were extremely dishonest and rude, literally telling outright lies to avoid pricematching. But finally I got to someone higher up who was apologetic, confirmed that my facts were correct and price matched my local Lowes. The first ladder I got was damaged and it was replaced quickly, the second one was a bit bent in the same place (apparently the shrinkwrap they put on it is a bit too tight and twists the leg). This one was only slight and easily bent back, so I now have the ladder (which IS 250lb rated not 225 like the description says) at the pricematched price. The beginning of this experience was extremely frustrating and angering, however in the long run they came through and things worked out. The ladder itself is very good quality and nice and lightweight, Werner is the best there is and always has been, so that's a given. It won't let me change my rating from the initial 1 star I gave when I got shot down for pricematch, but I'd give it 4 now.
