Built for Stability and Durability
The Werner 6002 Two-Foot Fiberglass Stepstool has a Type I duty rating, which means it will support up to 250 pounds. It features three-inch slip-resistant Traction-Tred steps for a safe climb and descent, molded braces on the bottom steps, as well as a molded top that provides a large standing platform for a steady stance.

For further stability, the 6002 features slip-resistant foot pads that keep it from moving around. Additionally, external Pinch-Proof spreaders lock the stepstool into position. The spreaders resist sticking when you're trying to open and close the stool, and when open, they provide a wide spread to make the stepstool stable and secure.

Just as durable as it is stable, the 6002 features back-up plates that reinforce the top connectors. What's more, each rivet is backed up by a metal plate or washer to protect the fiberglass.

This is a very sturdy 2 foot step.. Much better than the aluminum version they sell at the home center.. I weigh 245 lbs and feel comfortable gettin on it.. Would buy anouther one.

Had a defect on foot when I got it. Werner sent me a new one. I fixed the first one and now I have two great ladders. I am a contractor and been using werner for many years with no complaint.

Exactly as described, fully assembled and functional. Useful in the garden and around the home for reaching up. Unless your balance is very good, helps to have something to lean against, when on the top step. We
use it in the garden to prune our fruit trees, and inside to reach items
on a high shelf
