The Werner Long Body aluminum ladder jacks for stages up to 20-inch width enable the use of planks or stages between Type 1 or 1A ladders. Put the jacks a foot away from each end of the plank or stage them up to 20 inches wide, then use the clamps to hold the plank or stage together

This is a short body ladder jack. Ladder jacks allow you to run planks or stages between a pair of extension or single ladders. Ladder jacks should be placed one foot from each end of the plank or stage. They should be used on type I or IA ladders. Sort body jacks will support stages up to 14 inches in width, long body up to 20 inches. Werner ladder jacks use a platform clamp system to clamp the plank to the ladder jacks and help tie the entire system together. (priced per pair)

i've used long body ladder jacks before and there is not a product on the market that can compare. By far the Werner ladder jacks exceed all expectations from the general contractor to the week-end do-it-yourself handy man. For under $90.00 painting your house just became a whole lot easier. If you don't own a pair soon, somethings wrong!

The Werner AC10-20-02 Long Body Aluminum Ladder Jacks were just what I needed. I am a do-it-yourselfer who was rebuilding and shingling a garage roof. I needed to have an easy scaffold to do the shingling so that I did not have to keep moving ladders as I shingled. These ladder jacks did the trick. They were easy to assemble and adjust to provide a level scaffold. In addition the retainer "clips" were great for keeping a narrower scaffold from moving around. That provides comfort when working off the ground. They are very strong as both my father and I were able to be on the same scaffold at the same time and we both weigh over 200 lbs. I would recommend these for anyone that needs a good, sturdy, affordable pair of ladder jacks.

I am a painting contractor , used these on a very high two story house. was very impressed with how the ladder jacks locked down the walk board. would give these an excellent rating.
