The former chapter 22, 'Evaluation of Thyroid Nodules by Needle Biopsy,' has been incorporated into the new chapter 73, 'Clinical Evaluation and Management of Solitary Thyroid Nodules.' Infectious thyroiditis has been moved from part 9 to part 4, 'Causes of Thyrotoxicosis.'
