I use this ladder day in and day out installing commercial doors and hardware. For any application up to eight feet this is the ideal step ladder. The most stable I have seen or used, wide steps front and back.I weigh around 250 lbs. so the ladder gets used to within 83 % of it's rated capacity daily and the one I started with is six years old now and good as new.

We recently purchased several of these Werner 2' Tall Fiberglass twin step stool / ladders. They are the handiest ladder we have ever owned. The height of this ladder makes it perfect for countless projects from framing, wall papering, painting, changing lights, electrical work, projects in the ceiling of your basement and the list goes on and on.

Extremely sturdy, this ladder is also a true 2 sided ladder, which even more adds to it's versatility. Make sure you keep your eye on this little ladder if you use it on a job site as they are so popular, they are likely to go home with someone else ( purely unintentional I am sure......)

Seriously, you will love this ladder and find uses for it that you never could have imagined......Plus, Amazon's price is very competative and the freight special is makes this an even better value, as if it needed any help!

Just a great ladder. You can easily stand on the top step without having to worry about losing your ballance or your feet getting tired. It fits in small places and is easy to carry. It is also the right hieght for working in houses.

I was given two of these ladders over a year ago, and used them so much that I ordered two more! Although a bit heavy/bulky for the taste of two of my people, the rest of the crew loves them. One of our more common uses for the stool is to set them up as indoor scaffolding when performing lengthly ceiling/overhead work. Sorry I didn't discover this item years sooner!

WIDER than you may expect, and not quite 2 feet tall.
Step forward, backward, or straddle, this is a great step ladder.

If you have ever, even almost steped off the wrong side of a lesser two foot ladder, spend the difference and get twice the ladder. With steps on both halves it safer, your worth it.

Update I bought this April 2006, I like it so much I bought the four foot version #T7404 It is awesome, not just me but those i work with all want to use this twin ladder, having steps on only one side is a huge disadvantage!

Love the fact that this step stool, unlike others I've used, doesn't teeter when folded up because the legs are equal length. Be warned, though, that the photo on amazon's website is somewhat deceptive. The actual stool is orange (rather than red as shown). Also, the top steps look slanted in the photo, which isn't the case. My only criticism is that it takes a little work to open/collapse the stool. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln very much enjoys the product.

This is truly the best step ladder that I have ever owned. I remove wallpaper as a side job and this ladder was used by a painter that raved about it. One step on it and I was sold. More sturdy than anything that I have tried in the past. The top 2nd step is the most stable that I've seen. Being able to go up one side and down the other makes my work move right along. Definately worth every penny.

Used mine for the first time today. Very happy w/ the solid feel, and the rubber feet are impressive. Kind of like construction or hiking boot soles.
However those finger pinching metal hinges that are sure to get bent.
Definitely not upset w/ my purchase, but would spend more money for solid, smooth operational hinges that lock.

I have owned this ladder for a few years now and have been extremely satisfied with it. I am a garage door repair man and this little ladder has served me very well, the construction quality is second to none! This size of the ladder suits most of my needs for repairs and gets in to tight spots where as a larger ladder wouldn't.

I've had this ladder for about a month now. I've used it on every job so far. I do mostly electrical work renovations indoors. This ladder is the PERFECT height to work inside. It is an extremely sturdy, well built ladder, that will last a lifetime. Being able to stand with one foot on each side of the ladder makes working more comfortable, and safer.
Would recommend this ladder to anyone, but becareful on the job site , everyone wants to borrow it !
