THIS CD IS BANG'N. AFTER I HEARD IT THE SECOND TIME, IT REALY STARTED TO CLICK, THE BEATS, THE VOLCALS, THE MELODY, EVERYTHING CAME TOGETHER. MOST OF THE SONGS ARE GOOD, THE ONE W/ICE CUBE IS A CLASSIC, CUBE IS ON POINT ON THAT SONG. THE FEW GUEST HE HAS ON THE CD ARE HOT, NOT REALY KNOWN, BUT THEY BLEND IN JUST FINE. THERE ARE NO DR. DRE BEATS HERE, BUT THE BEATS ARE STILL BANG'N. THE BAD THING IS MOST OF THE SONGS ARE SHORT. THIS IS A UNKNOWN CLASSIC. LIKE B.G. KNOCC OUT AND DREASTA, AND A FEW OTHERS, IN ABOUT FIVE TO SIX YEARS THIS CD WILL COST YOU $40 TO $50, YOU'LL SEE.YOU CAN FIND THIS CD AT SOME BEST BUY STORES. (THEY SELL IT THE CHEAPEST BRAND NEW) FYE ECT. PICK IT UP!!!

Spider Loc returns with another album in 2007,a nd a nice one at that. The G-Unit West coast rapper brings you a 15 song, short album.. Of the 15 songs, the majority are 2 verses and under 3 minutes long, but never the less the album is tight. Guests are minimal, rapping on 2 songs and doing the hooks on 3. Of the 15 songs, 3 are ok, the other 12 are good, with a good amount being real good, but no classics. Production is nice as well. Rare does 6 songs, Da Riffs do 3, Spider Loc and Trac Addic each do 2 and Nephew and Capon-E each do 1. This is better then his "Bangadoshis" album (which is the only other album of his I own). A nice album to have for his fans.#1 - 8 #2 - 8.5 (f/ E-Note) #3 - 9 (f/ Ice Cube -- nice beat) #4 - 8 #5 - 8.5 (good beat) #6 - 8.5 (f/ E-Note -- nice beat) #7 - 8.5 #8 - 8.5 #9 - 9 (nice beat) #10 - 7 #11 - 9 (tight sample beat) #12 - 9 (nice beat) #13 - 7.5 (f/ LOVE) #14 - 7.5 #15 - 8.5 (f/ Papa Smurf, Piper & E-Note) Curtis Williams -- Los Angeles, CA Check all my reviews

Really Street...,
This review is from: West Kept Secret: The Prequel (Audio CD)
When i first heard of Spider Loc was with G-Unit... i knew Game was already on his beef with 50, so i thought there was gonna be more beef escalating cause of that, but i really havent heard nothing from that... but im really getting off of topic here, im sorry... this album IS REALLY GOOD!! I n'joyed every track (especially the 'untitled' track... 'bluetiful', very melodic) i saw it on the shelf over here in Iraq while shoppin in the PX, i knew who Spider Loc was, so i copped it, and im glad i did! If your down with West Coast (L.A.) hip hop (Gangster rap) then you're not going to be mad if you buy this CD... so get ur shine on Spider Loc... looking forward to new materials.

This is a good CD to hold you over til he drops his real solo. My only real complaint is the length of some of the songs. They seem to short. Other then that it's nicely produced and has good verses through out. . .
