Product Description

Use the included base plate for easy display on a table or desktop. This music board can also be easily mounted on a wall using your own screws, mirror mounting tape, or velcro strips (hardware for mounting is not included). Since the markers are alcohol based it means that every time the cap is off it will speed the drying process. So the markers need to be re-capped when not in use, even if it's only for a short time. Any brand of dry-erase marker can be used when the original markers run out. To clean the marker board: DO NOT use a cleaning product - it will make the surface of the board deteriorate. The company recommends using a non-acetone fingernail polish remover, or mineral spirits. DO NOT wash the erasers - use the crevice or edge attachment on a vacuum cleaner to vacuum off the crumbs.

For the price, this is an excellent board. But it is made of particle board (it is somewhat flimsy but stiff enough). If you are serious about a good board, I recommend the EZ board by Lucy Chu.

I am unsatisfied.
The board is made of thin material; disproportion of board size and material. The material needs to be more solid. The markers are old and dry.

This board is a great idea however the white board is cheesy and not the normal quality that other white boards are. I don't think it will last long.

As a music teacher, invaluable tool. I have one that is still in fine condition I have owned for two years bought a second one because I like it so much. I wanted one for moving around the room as needed and one to mount on wall.

Only 2 downsides:

1.) If you leave it on the base board holder too long it will slightly warp. However, I put it on a flat table for a few days and it straightened out enough.

2.) The marking on the top left and right of the board is a tad annoying when your charting lead sheet chords. I get (West Music.) wants people to know their name. However, they should reduce the font size and raise it in higher corners. That way it doesn't get in the way of: notating, lead sheet chords or in the way at the bottom; where roman numerals and figured bass go.

$35 plus shipping is a good deal though!
