Our dog is a ferocious chewer. This is the first toy ever that has survived her teeth. Even after months of tug play, fetch, and just solo chewing, there isn't a single sign of chipping, scratching, or tearing on this toy. Unbelievable. And she adores it! If she has a choice between this and any other -- this is the toy she picks to play with. I love it because the shape allows me to keep my hand away from her teeth during Tug. Highly recommended for dogs who are hard on their toys.

Wow, what can i say, this product is one of Alfie's favourite toys. We have had it for over 2 months now, and there isn't a single bite mark on it, and being a Irish Wolfhound Terrier x, he has very strong teeth,which normally means toys are ripped to pieces in hours, but this toy IS indestructible. I would recommend it to all dog owners.

My Jack Russell Terrier likes this Bumi. She chews on it and it does not come apart. The only thing I noticed, was that the blue was getting on my hands after she had it in the pool. It did not peel or look any different, it just had a funny feel to it and I noticed a bit of blue on my hand. That was last summer when we first got it, but I have not seen it since.

Our Boston has a very strong drive to tug and to chew, and our boxer plays along her. After a couple months of such treatment, the Bumi looks like new -- that really is something! No dents, no holes, no little pieces tearing off. It seems indestructible and it remains a favorite toy for both dogs.

We have both a Small Bumi and a Large Bumi. Our Boston is about 18 pounds and the Small one is the perfect size for her to get a good grip although she does enjoy and play with both the Small and Large size. The large Bumi is perfect for our boxer who is around 50 pounds.

AND...Definite value added -- this product is MADE in the USA.

My dog is a 25 pound Heinz 57 whom loves to chew. She is hard on all toys, tugging, chewing, tossing, pulling etc. I would have to say that the Bumi by West Paw is the BEST toy I have purchased to date (and I have all the other West Paw Toys already). She loves to play tug of war and toss this toy in the air. She can sit and gnaw on this toy for hours and I see no damage to date. It's soft on her teeth but she is not able to chew any pieces off this toy. I LOVE this toy for my dog and if it someday gets destroyed, I will purchase another one right away!

My dog likes to tug and pull, and doesn't really care for this one. It looks indestructible though, and is generally as described.

We've had this for over a week, and my 135lb Mastiff puppy carries it everywhere. Tugs with our smaller dog, and chews, chews, chews it. Doesn't even show signs of breaking down yet! These West Paw toys will be filling their Christmas stockings this year for sure.

I bought this for my little shih tzu in hopes that we can play tug of war but his cute little teeth is unable to lock on to the toy despite purchasing the small one. But on his own time and his own way- HE LOVES IT!!! He shakes it, he tosses it and most of all, he uses it as a chew bone at night, like a baby to a pacifier, before falling asleep. I highly recommend this toy to every dog owner out there. Great buy and TRULY durable!

For a company that claims that their products are "guaranteed to last", I was very disappointed. My dog is a hard-chewer; however, he was able to tear off a large chunk of this product within the first 30 minutes of chewing on it. Looking back, I should have just used this as a tug toy and it would have been fine. Other products I've purchased from West Paw Design were more durable than this but my dog seemed to have little interest in chewing/playing with them.

My 6 month old Lab, Pippin loves chewing, chasing and pulling this toy - it stands up to rigorous daily activity for the past month without breaking. This appears to be a chew proof toy!
