3.0 out of 5 stars
3.5 stars from C-Bo's 2nd "Ryders" compilation, December 20, 2005
This review is from: West Side Ryders 2 (Audio CD)
C-Bo is back 2 and a half years since his last "West Side Ryders" compilation with another one about equal to that one. I'm a fan of Bo Loc but alot of his newer material is far from his earlier works he had on AWOL records. Of the dozen or so albums of his I own this is on the bottom half. With 17 songs, only 6 are new C-Bo material (& they're most of the beter songs on here) and of the 17, 9 are on other albums. It features a lot of his northern Cali clique on here. It has 5 ok songs, 4 I skip and the other 8 are good. Production is good and bad. J Silva does 6 songs, Crash does 2, Underrated, Kaveo, Rick Rude, Wino, Roger Troutman Jr., Del Vegas, Aliens, Floss P, and Studio Ton all do 1 song. A good album for C-Bo or Northern Cali rap fans to have but far from his best work.
