The best man for the job. That's Morgan Hughes. A field inspector for the Texas Cattlemen's Association, he's a cattle rustler's nightmare and every woman's dream. Now he's been asked three favors by his good friend Rafe Parker: to be best man at Rafe's wedding, to take over as temporary foreman of the Parker family's ranch and to investigate a mysterious woman named Christine Grant.
Seems that the lovely Christine and her eightyearold daughter have just arrived at the Parker Ranch with illusions of having inherited shares in it. But only family members can inherit, and Christine and her daughters are no Parkers. Or are they?
