I bought this because of the brand name and price. It is a winner on both counts. It's made by Westclox, a trusted name in small travel alarm clocks. It is simple to use and I didn't even need to read the directions. The only thing I would change about it would be to be able to replace the battery. I had a Westclox kitchen timer for probably about 20 years before it gave up the ghost, however the batteries could be replaced. But, for the small price of this clock, it seems to be a good deal.

If you need a reliable travel alarm clock, this is it! Unfortunately the cost is a bit high, but for serious travelers, or people who just want a small alarm clock next to their bed, this clock will last and last. I didn't think I'd ever find this clock again (after I wrongly crushed mine on a trip), but was so glad to find it again on Amazon.

I looked at a number of different travel alarms and found that many are flimsy, and I wondered how long they'd hold up (even an LL Bean one I saw didn't look that great). Since this one was inexpensive and had good reviews I decided to give it a shot. I've had it for about a year and it works great. The price was right and it's very reliable. I highly recommend it for the budget-minded shopper.

Good travel clock, folds up nicely, is easy enough to figure out, set, and use. The beep is sufficient to wake me up, although I'm not a super heavy or light sleeper. The only down side I've found is that it doesn't take normal batteries, it's got one of those flat circular ones, which can be hard to find when you are traveling around! All in all though I'm quite satisfied with it.

Bought my first one in 1997 and it lasted 13 years. Not only as a travel alarm but my only alarm clock. After 6 years, replaced the first battery. During a trip to Siberia the slide on-off switch started to act up a little so it was no great loss when I left it in a hotel room there. Had no idea though that it was still being made. When I found this listing, I bought two. Over the years I have tried a few other back-up alarms to be used when time was critical. They were all hard or confusing to set, difficult to read, poorly made, and from a design standpoint, simply lacking. Sounds lika a brash statement but I actually believe this is the best travel alarm on the market at any price. Its design patent is well-deserved.

This is my second alarm clock. I love it!! The battery lasts forever. It is super simple to set and takes up little space at home or when traveling. Very reliable.

I bought this alarm clock for travel, but I loved it so much that I chucked my nightstand alarm clock and use this one every day. It's compact and durable -- my kids have dropped and drooled on it for years, and it's still going strong. And I haven't had to change the batteries since purchasing it years ago.

This clock is a replacement for same clock that I had for over 15 years. This clock is identical to the one I had before. The sound of the alarm is the only thing that I see that is different. This is a nice compact item that you can carry with you on your travel. It takes up very little space. It is very durable and keeps excellent time.

great small alarm clock, good set-up as far as control buttons, nice size. Have had one for many years, wanted to get another since I like it so well (the first one still works fine), but could no longer find one locally at the store. Glad to find it still available thru Amazon.

Like the fact that it folds. Reliable. Loud, which I need. Plus, I love the snooze. It repeats every 5 mins! :)
