I suspect I know what the problem found by the original reviewer was. The clock's projector system has a focus adjustment. After tweaking the focus adjustment, I got a nice sharp image projected on the ceiling, giving me the time and the temperature. It isn't very bright and can only be read when the room is dark, but that is the only time it is needed. The only thing I'd like to see changed about the clock is that, since I'm hearing impaired, the alarm sound is not quite loud enough. It is plenty loud when I'm wearing my hearing aid, but I don't sleep with the aid and need a bit more noise to be sure and wake me up. The clock mechanism itself is battery operated, so it keeps track of the time even during power failures. The clock uses a power-line adapter to power the backlight and projector. It would be a great design change and rate 5 stars if they used the AC power source to power an amplifier that made the alarm sound adjustably louder when it is plugged in.
