4.0 out of 5 stars No problems, I can't complain
This umbrella works fine with my setup but I find myself going for the double fold umbrella. If you are a wedding photographer or someone who needs to pack lighter - go with a double fold umbrella. This one is fine otherwise.

1.0 out of 5 stars Essentially useless.
This umbrella does a poor job of reflecting light onto photography subjects. A piece of foam board with a shiny surface that you can buy at Home Depot works far better.

In my experience with this umbrella, it performs as I expected it to. The build quality is pretty average and I haven't had any problems with it being overly fragile or tricky to manipulate. One thing to note is that it does not have a black backing so it does tend to spill more light through it than a black-backed umbrella generally would. I use this one mainly outdoors so the stray light isn't that big a deal but if I were shooting in a small studio with light-colored walls I'd probably go with an umbrella that didn't allow stray light to bounce around quite as much.
