Not bad for cheaper Scissors; not very pointed, which is a plus. I use these mainly to clip my long toesnails, to cut out old plumbing ads from magazines and to cut out Playboy pictures from pre-1970 magazine issues.

(I got this set at a store. I only use the small westcott Scissors for cutting paper, nothing thick. After about 2 months time, minimal use, the plastic on the finger hole cracked. I now can not use the Scissors, that is unacceptable quality.

Nice feel and Scissor blades though. Wish they were made stronger.)

Update:

I was cutting paper, one at a time, when the two parts of the scissors fell apart. I would have thought the blade and pivot points, that obviously get the most wear and tear, would be stronger. Nope, the pivot point has a plastic nut which gave way. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link which, in this case, is plastic.

My child loves these scissors! They are comfortable for her to hold. She is ambidextrous and can use either hand with this product. Lots of great colors. I love the idea of the Microban handle.

Good quality pair of scissors. Blades are 2 inches long, made of steel with handles made of plastic. Good for cutting paper including thin cardboards. The tips are not rounded, but still somewhat blunt.
Remember, this is for little hands.

They were on sale (figured would toss them out) BUT NICE LITTLE PAIR OF SCISSORS TO HAVE AROUND. THEY'RE GREAT!

i ordered it for a boy and got a pink one... didnt notice the description says assorted colors.
