For an even lower profile, the Westek low voltage accent lights can be recess mounted in a cabinet. Also dimmable with Westek A6043BC touch pad dimmer (sold separately). After installing these lights within the top of an armoire, they worked as desired for almost 3 months before failure of the center light. Perhaps the vibration from the center channel speaker (also in armoire) played a role in causing the center light to fail. After inspecting the light, if the bulb is manipulated with fingers, it will recontact the ballast leads and illuminate, but when you let go if it it turns back off. Not worth the trouble so I don't recommend buying this set.
