I used this outdoor timer to turn my outdoor Christmas lights on/off. The heavy duty construction kept it working through several days of heavy rain. Just make sure you follow the directions carefully. At first, I didn't know what position the pins had to be until I read the instructions. Duh!

Hmmm...other two reviewers seemed to have serious problems with this. Got mine back in December for the outdoor lights and it's been working perfectly every single day. We can see the lights from the living room and they go off at exactly 9:30pm every night. In my experience it's worked perfectly.

Hmmm.....I bought this too for my outdoor holiday lights. Just like the first reviewer mine has to be constantly futzed with to keep it timed properly. The time goes waaaaay off. I would not recommend this product. Especially if you actually need to depend upon it. As it is now, it is easier for me to just futz with it than send it back. AND THAT is exactly what the seller is hoping. So DON'T BUY IT in the first place.

not happy

Great Idea -- Doesn't Work
It's straightforward and simple. Difficult to screw up. You pull or push the little pin/buttons for each half hour, and depending on where the pin is, the lights go on or off. Read more
