I cannot recommend this timer. I used it last year for my pool filter and it worked fine most of the time. If you used the manual switch, however, sometimes it would not turn on properly the next day when the timer was supposed to turn it on.
Fast forward to this pool season. I just reopened my pool and took the timer out of the garage where it was carefully stored for the winter. It worked the first day to turn on the filter but then the second day I noticed the filter was not on. When I went to check the timer I found the dial was "frozen" at 4am and I could not even turn the dial to the correct time by hand. I will be buying a different brand to replace it.

Purchased this timer 2 1/2 months ago. It worked a month and quit. Attempted to contact the manufacturer and have not had a reply.

I bought a few of these timers and most of them have worked as expected, but one started hanging after a month or so. I have it set to go on for a few hours at night and then on again a few hours in the morning and for the past month it has hung up, rendering it useless. The others however have worked just fine, either on/off every half hour or just on/off twice a day.
