I've learned it's best to just go with a larger hard drive if it's going to be your desktop or whatnot in the same room as you. These older and smaller capacity hard drives are just to loud and annoying.

I can't say more then good because I never wound up using it. I bought it as a cheap SATA drive to boot another OS on. Working too fast I realized this is IDE and not SATA. I did keep it as I fix computers from time to time and it will come in handy. I tested to see if it works and it does.
