This is a cute case, and it's very protective, however, the zipper sticks when going around the corners and you have to back up and try to zip again. I'm afraid it will eventually break. If I had tried it out in a store before buying, I probably would have passed it by.I use it for my tiny Western Digital My Passport. NOTE: It's better to put the Passport in the netted side pocket and leave the cord in the main section. It has a tendency to fall out of the main part and actually fits better in the netted side pocket.

I was disappointed in that my 1TB WD drive would NOT fit into this case. The drive sat on the internal ridges of the case and would not fit regardless of which side I used. U had to return the product.

This case doesn't have a lot of cushioning but the shell is pretty sturdy and it seems well crafted. It is the perfect size for the Western Digital My Passport Essential (including its USB cord), as advertised. That is a smaller than usual external hard drive, so the people complaining about the small size of this case should read the product description and see what its intended for.
