I got this HDD for my PS3 and it's great. It also runs at 5400rpm so it won't overheat in the PS3.

I purchased this HDD for my PS3. So far I haven't had any problems. This was probably one of the easiest swaps I've ever done. Just a side note - if you do use this for your PS3, just be careful you don't strip the screws when removing the old HDD.

For the money though, you can't beat it. Good stuff!

It's working perfectly on my Ps3, If your feel that u need that extra space for your Ps3. then u got your self the right product

What is there to say? This is a decent, high-capacity hard drive for a notebook computer. It has made my MacBook a much easier place to store all my stuff. It's typical WD build, and works as described. if you want your computer to seem bigger and more satisfying, you need a bigger hard drive!

Of course, like any hard drive, it's not actually 250GB as advertised when it's in your computer. It will seem smaller, but that's just shrinkage due to the industry's mucking with numbers. They all do it.

I used this drive to replace a bad hard drive in my laptop. I had no problems installing, formatting, or partitioning. It seems to work great. It has been in operation for about 3 months at the time of this review.

This is an excellent drive choice if the specs fit your needs. There are faster drives and larger capacities available in the same price range, but I've found these drives to offer good reliability and excellent compatibility in replacing failed hard drives in 2-4 year old laptops of different makes and models. Would highly recommend for hassle-free swapping and upgrading.

Bought this as a replacement for my laptop's HD gone dead. Works great and hope it will last at least 2-3 years.

A year ago the hard drive that came with my MacBook went dead! I still don't know how or why and never got an answer from the repair people. Lucky, I was able to replace it and my option was this Western Digital 250GB SATA Notebook Hard Drive. It is silent, fast, reliable and works perfectly. Oh, and has plenty of room!. Ten stars.
