Wow! This is better than I expected. It's small, compact, and simply delightful. My entire computer can be backed up on it, and it has great features that I was unaware of before I got it. Thank you

I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Western Digital Portable Hard Drive. It is very easy to transfer data to the hard drive and it is also easily accessible when I travel.

Great size physically and does what you need it to. You do lose about 16GB so it's not really 250, but I guess that's the way it goes with these. Others I know had issues with the FAT32 format, but it's easy to reformat as NTFS.

i love this portable hard drive. it's easy to use and it does what it's supposed to. it's great. i got one for my son as well.

I love the portability and the sleek design of this device, though it does sync pretty slowly. The size is so small but packs a lot of storage. Great for backing up videos and music files that take up a lot of space on your internal hard drive. I do a lot of work on my computer so when I want to back up the entire hard drive or multiple videos then I'll have to let it sync overnight cause it seems to an hour or more to do so.

I have never owned an external hard drive before. I looked into different hard drives before purchasing this one. I don't mind the color of it (some people might mind the pink), and it seemed like it was the best deal for how much space I got. This does not come with an owner's manual, and it directs you to the web for anything similar to an owner's manual. Consequently, when I first plugged the hard drive in (and since I've never owned one before), i got really confused about what it was doing and what it was making me download. Eventually, I realized that I could bypass everything it was trying to make me do and just open it via "My Computer" and drag and drop items to store them. This was much easier for me to understand than whatever it took me through at first. That's the only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5.
