She is the author of dozens of articles on the region and a former writer for AOL's Digital City Buffalo, an online city guide. I bought this book for my son who will be spending 3 years in Buffalo attending school and it is perfect for someone new to the area. He's already trying the restaurants in the area and is planning day trips to see the many attractions in Western New York. A few more maps would be a plus but with the availability of maps online, unnecessary. A few more pictures would be a nice addition for the next edition.
