A film that is sure to appeal to a wide range of people,

I rented this film from the library based on the synopsis written on the back. It sounded like something I would like, and luckily I was right. The movie is a bit long (about 2 hours) but there aren't too many lulls in the action. I laughed throughout the whole thing, but there were also some more serious scenes that tugged at my heart. Paco the shoe salesman and Nino the drifter are an unlikely pair, but their interaction together and with other people is funny, sometimes hysterical, heartwarming and inspirational. I think everyone can enjoy Paco and Nino's road trip through a small part of southwest France. If you've been to France it will make you want to return, and if you've never been this is a nice and honest introduction to the culture.

Its a very strange tale about two men who happen to meet each other on the road. There are funny bits. The men learn about themselves and each other. There is an odd love story towards the end when they both fall for the same woman. It's an interesting movie!
