Wonderful book !!! Kim is a fabulous artist and captures the true heart of a Westie !! Children of all ages will enjoy this book....

A delightful book! The simple captions are perfect for the beginning reader & the art by Kim Niles is just perfect for the captions! Kim's Westie has finally found his voice in Colette Anjou's words. Being a dog lover, book lover, and art lover, I assure you that you will be delighted with this charming book!

What a special book for tots (Westie owners too). Simple, descriptive one word captions under each of the enchanting drawings by Kim Niles. Kim obviously knows her subjects. In her endearing art I see my own two dogs (Westies, of course), their expressions and behaviours. Can't wait to read it to the grandchildren. Bravo ladies.

This is a really cute book for preschool and K age children. The pictures are adorable and it has easy words so the child can read it. Kim Niles is a great artist!
Anyone who loves Westie's will love this book.

Been seeing the pictures by Kim for a long time now, love her work and it's nice to see it in this small book. A first reader for the young ones! Using simple words to describe what the Westie is doing, this book is just fun to read and point at and look at!

I am astonished at the other reviews about this book. It is disappointing, lacks substance, and is too basic. Westie lovers will note that rather than capture the essence of a Westie, only one expression(if any) is used for all the pictures. As a first reader I suppose it is functional, but that's about all I can say for it. And of course all Westies are cute, so the pictures also are cute.
