The bulbs are are hard to find, the only draw back in ordering the bulbs through Amazon is that the shipping cost was way over the top. The next time I need them, I will try a little harder to try to find them locally.

I bought two dozen of these for some atmospheric gaming sessions. Honestly, they are very dim and I had a couple DOAs out of the lot. Still, they are inexpensive, so that kinda makes it ok.

I originally ordered 3 bulbs and 1 did not work. I sent an email to vendor and at first the vendor did not respond because they said they did not receive my email. To replace the 1 that did not work the vendor sent me 2 replacement bulbs. 1 of them worked and the other did not. I felt this was a good customer service move on the vendors part if the bulbs do have an issue with not mailing well. The lights themselves are fine when working. They have a nice flicker to them for whatever decorative need you have. Do order them early if they are for a special occasion so that you have plenty of time to get replacements if needed. The vendor does seem to work with you on replacements without actually returning the bulbs since the postage would be more that the bulb is worth.

these work fine as a night light bulb, should theoretically last for years ... worth the money if brightness isn't that important, as the 4w or 7w incandescent bulbs will be brighter ...

Nice low wattage bulb. Inside flame color is black when not in use; has orange flicker light when on. It does not put out much light. It's useful for decorative purposes only.
