These bulbs give a nice, clear, white light and last a lot longer than regular bulbs. We use them in our 8 bulb light over our dining room table.

These are great bulbs and last a very long time in ceiling fans where vibrations kill normal bulbs quicker than anything. But the amazon price ($11.43) is twice what I pay for them from a local hardware store that reminds me of my testies....
