I was a little hesitant about ordering this product. After all the bulb is only six watts. I was presently surprised to find that it does a great job with my somewhat dark 12 inch (high) x 18 inch (wide) painting. The other reviewers were right. This picture light truly does get the job done. I am very pleased with this product and gladly give it a 5-star rating. It leaves nothing to be desired. I especially appreciate the extended length of the electric cord. It is sufficient to extend right down to the base board plug.

I'm using the light to illuminate some shiny objects inside a showcase, and it's a little brighter than I thought it would be, So, I had to diffuse the light with a heat resistant frosted material. But all-in-all, this is a quality item.

This light gives off a very nice glow. It show cases pictures with out glare. It is a great night light too.
