I actually picked this TV up for $239.99 on Black Friday. I had a couple of requirements that it fulfilled. I needed the thinnest, most energy-efficient TV with great vertical viewing angles, and real (physical) buttons. I know, weird specifications.

Of all of the TVs that I watched, including two different Vizios, an LG, and a Samsung, the Westinghouse had the best vertical viewing angles. I think people forget that we tend to mount these things so that we are looking up at them, and the vertical viewing is one of the most important specs. The other TVs were also CCFL-backlit, not LED, so they were much thicker and slightly heavier than this model.

Overall, for the price I paid, it was the best buy. If vertical viewing angles are not important to you, buy the Samsung. The color is more accurate, and the cabinet more stylish (although it is atrocious to watch from a lower angle). If price is the major factor, buy the Vizio (unwatchable from lower angles). Otherwise, the Westinghouse is your man.

Beautiful design, elegant form, plus it works. I returned a Vizio because it didn't work well and the audio was messed uop, and i am so happy that I got this tv. Paired it with a warranty and I'm set. Last westinghouse tv we had lasted from 1997 to 2010.

We set up this TV in what we call our office. We have satelite TV so ran it through a HD DVR receiver. After getting the color adjusted I would classify the picture quality as superb, and the sound is on a par with our larger TV in our family room. The only drawback is its light weight. If it is placed on a desk or table it recommends screwing it to the surface. It is a good buy for the money.

Wow!!! Picture is great and computer graphics even better!! Yes you may have heard that you really do not need 1080p resolution in a TV smaller than 42". But this is mainly used as a Monitor for computer work. But hey watch a movie too. Not in the mood for a movie? Then hook up your game console and blast away!! Too tired to do anything? Then throw in a USB stick and you have yourself a digital frame for your pics. Whatever the case, all bases are covered. However, no matter what size Flatscreen TV you end up with you will always need a sound system to go with it. (Unless you get the Mitsubishi Flatscreen sound projector), no flatscreen TV is gonna give you the "Umph" you need. Shipping was fast and the packaging secure. I have this mounted on the wall like a painting (no swivel) and it gives me all that extra desk space I demand. $329.00 for a 26" 1080p? I cant find that kind of deal anywhere! Almost got the 26" 1080p Visio, but not for $600.00 plus. Thank you Westinghouse and Amazon, you guys kick butt!

Okay, I just purchased this TV for my wife. The manual is fine for connections and general description; but, it is not so thorough when giving advice for "Setup." That's because when you first turn it on, it prompts you to follow the "Setup Wizard" which guides you, step by step. Pretty straight forward (had no issues setting up the DVD player), unless you are trying to setup a Satellite Receiver for TV2 (at least this was the case with my DISH system).

I was prompted to obtain an activation code (fairly simple on-line). It did not like that I selected "coaxial" as my connection method... but hey, that is what I had. Then, it failed to detect "Channel 3." I was not able to proceed beyond this point... until I called their customer support number. They told me to select "Antenna" instead of "Satellite" when connecting to TV2. After trying that, everything was fine. The picture is "so-so" (due to the coaxial connection), but that was expected. That said, the picture from the DVD player was PHENOMENAL!!! And that was from using an RGB composite connection, imagine if I had an HDMI cable! As for the sound quality... it was fine for my needs; nothing earth-shaking, but good enough for normal TV viewing. If sound is really important to you, you will probably need a surround system... but then, you probably already have one. I hope this was helpful to you.

So here is a REAL review by a REAL person considering the last review shown was the same from multiple websites. Legit LED. Picture looks great and gaming is way better. 1080p is nice :). Clear images and smooth picture. Could of been 120 hz but I can't complain. Westinghouse is a good company with a nice product lineup. Would much prefer over Vizio and other small brands. Nice job Westinghouse keep up the quality

I was looking for an HDTV to use with my Xbox for gaming, Xbox for Netflix, and as a monitor for my Mac. The price and features of this TV seemed spot-on, so I bought it.

PROS:
- Picture quality is stunning. I just can't find any fault with the picture. Netflix is much more fun, gaming is incredible (using HDMI cable), and my MacBook looks fantastic through it (though not as good as an Apple Cinema Display). Bear in mind, when using this as a display for your Mac, you WILL NOT get identical visuals compared to an iMac. That goes for any HDTV, I think. Something about the way Apple sets up their displays vs the way HDTVs are set up.
- Very lightweight, so you can move it around easily.
- Nice menu options for setting up visuals and audio.
- CHEAP! Holy crap, it's cheap!

CONS:
- Sound quality is horrific. I bought it knowing full-well that its sound would suck (thanks to the Amazon reviews!). Doesn't bother me, because I use external speakers. But beware: there is no headphone-out jack. So, if you wanna use regular computer desktop speakers, you'll need an adapter cable to go from RCA to 1/8th inch. Easy and cheap fix.

All things considered, this TV is an incredible value. You get FAR more than you pay for. The only concession you make is the terrible audio quality, so be prepared for that!
