This set has a fast 14 miilisecond response time, which is suitable for fast-motion electronic-game display. It also features a 350:1 contrast ratio with a 350 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating and 160-degree wide-angle viewability.

The 3:2 pulldown cinema video processing feature detects and compensates film--which is shot at 24 frames per second (fps) compared with video's 30 fps rate--to video for a smooth theater-like experience at home. Other features include motion adaptive 3D interlacing, VGA picture-in-picture enabling you to view TV and PC simultaneously, cable-ready video input, and included table stand (with optional wall mounting kit).

The LTV17V1 has two built-in 2.5-watt speakers (for 5 watts of total power) and offers the following video and audio connections:

Great price and free shipping for Amazon prime. Unfortunately, it requires perfect power source. Westinghouse tech support said this is often a problem with this model. I tried several outlets and couldn't get it to work properly. It would turn on and off by itself randomly. Can't really be sure if it's a design flaw or maybe a bad power supply in the TV itself. Doesn't really matter if you can't control when your TV is on or off. What a disappointment.

I wondered why it cost less than the others at Best Buy. Even asked why it cost less and looked great.People were looking at the other flat screens that cost more? I bought it and the TV works great! Sharp as a tack. Now a friend wants one and Best Buy stopped selling this size.

Given the price, this is not a bad TV. It does suffer from occasional processing lag, though, and cannot be viewed from as broad an angle as you'd like.
