This Westinghouse outdoor wall lantern provides a fun, casual look on the porch, along the house, or elsewhere in the yard. Shaped like a miniature barrel, it's ideal for outdoor use and is made of durable steel with a matte black finish; the glass panels are frosted for a softer lighting that still illuminates plenty.

Dimensions are a squat 7-3/4 inches tall and 6 inches wide, true to its barrel aspirations. The fixture includes one 13-watt compact fluorescent twist bulb; the light is Energy Star approved for efficient power use, and uses a photocell to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn for carefree, year-round lighting. I was very pleased with the overall look of this lamp. Something I wasn't aware of is the fact that it has a photocell, so it automatically comes on at dusk. Very nice! The only problem was that the bulb that was included, was completely shattered. And naturally, it's a special type of bulb.....not your regular fluorescent. This bulb has two contacts which are inserted into the lamp, as opposed to the screw-in type. Minus that problem, it was exactly what I was looking for.

Overall, I'm happy with this light. It is very easy to install and comes with nearly fool-proof instructions. The sensor works perfectly, so I don't have to leave my porch light on all day while I'm at work. The only problem is that the bulb IS NOT the screw-in type CFL bulb. It has a special base and will require one certain type of bulb. Watch out for that.

These outdoor lights are priced low considering the quality...which is a rare find! I was unsure how much I would like them once installed,and ended up being pleasantly surprised. Best feature hands down, photocell! These lights are too good to pass up if you are on a budget!
