Westlife 4 Life,
By
This review is from: Westlife - Unbreakable 1: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Westlife are the biggest pop act in the U.k. and much of Asia simply because they sing the most romantic ballads with so much feeling. If you like the best songs from Boyz II Men's II album then you'll love these classics from Westlife. I have all of their albums and this is just a hightlight collection of their singles but if you're just getting into them this is a great introduction. This collection also features a bonus track the new version of "Flying Without Wings" with Korean pop sensation boA, Who will soon be playing the role of Cho Chang in the next Harry Potter film -"Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban. But Bottom Line If You LOve Ballads this is a must have!

all i can say this song is an anthemic ballad of similar epic proportions, which showcases the bands' talented vocals and soothing harmonies.. it easily touch your heart when they sing this song. you can feel that it comes from their heart.actually this song tackles about someone you love that you always remember after all what happen. it tries you to go back the memories you shared together and to dream a moment that makes you both happy. all i can say is try to remember all those laughter and love you shared together because this is the only way your love will survive.

Irish boy band Westlife is like a millenium cross between the Carpenters and Air Supply, only without the former's melancholyand the latter's cheesiness. Well, actually, they are a bit on the cheesy side, and all three have sappiness in common, but that doesn't stop this retrospective from being the most essential purchase for any Westlife fan or any fan of solid boy band music. It does everyone the favor of wading through the group's often too-lengthy studio sets, while also providing several new tunes incorporated for your listening pleasure. While the group traffics mostly in the ballad arena(very fine examples here being 'Swear It Again' and 'My Love'), it's a nice change of pace when they throw something out like 'World Of Our Own' or the silly 'Bop Bop Baby', which breaks up the monotony of the whole thing. It's too bad all the new tracks are so predictable and snooze-inducing--it's all too-familiar ground that at some point they're going to have to move beyond. Overall, it's a solid collection, though it's docked one for the spate of tired new material.

I heard the songs of Westlife but I never bought a CD.This was the first CD that I bought of WESTLIFE.I can proudly say that this was a good experience for me.I got the best tracks of Westlfe. My best track is "WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING LIKE THAT".It is one of the best tracks of westlife. The new tracks are also nice but they cannot compete the old tracks of westlife .They will remain ever green forever.I want to wish them Good Luck for their future.

Their 11th UK No.1! They really are the BEST!!!,

Well, here's another heart-melting ballad! Unbreakable is one of the best sentimental love song that I have heard. The album contains the best songs that they ever had. Well, all of them have reached either the Top Spot in the UK singles chart or the second. Well Bop Bop Baby being a 5th placer is not bad at all!I want to Congratulate Shane for singing Unbreakable, Tonight and Written In the Stars Excellently! Bryan also has excellent voice quality as he sang the second half of unbreakable! Mark has the powerful voice! I love the song LOVE TAKES TWO where you can hear Mark as the lead vocal for that song. A1, NSYNC, BLUE and Back Street Boys can't sing Westlife's Powerful song pieces! Neither can they surpass WL's 11th UK no.1! ---- Thanks to Nell Reivin and John Patrick ----

A Complete Hit CD But With New Jewels From the "Stars",

Wows...another Westlife CD that of course I had to check out since I love these boys (I have a romantic side to me!). Anyways, this collection of hits is an awesome set here but the surprise is six new tracks as well. The current new single, "Unbreakable," is a great song once again crafted for the radio airwaves as a hit along with "How Does It Feel" and "Love Takes Two". "Miss The Nights" is a good song but "Tonight" is so sweet and amazing. However, "Written the Stars" must have truly been made there because out of all the Westlife songs ever recorded, this song is my favorite but it's amazing. Touching and deep lyrics that show true devotion and love and perfection of destiny. This CD is for any Westlife fan and also a good selection for those not really familiar with Westlife much because it gives you all the songs you probably know but also a taste of others as well and the unique style that keeps Westlife alive.

After barely 4 years in the pop music industry, boyband giants westlife released their greatest hits album, that from thereviewer's standpoint, is their answer to US Backstreet Boy's Greatest Hits: Chapter 1. The album is a 21-track fest of the band's biggest hits, including their #1 hits and cd-single tracks. The problem is, haven't fans heard enough of this? The radio edited versions of the songs are a plus, but it's been released in their previous albums and as singles that I've gotten tired of hearing the same material over and over again. So maybe you're saying "I'm reviewing the wrong album!", well, not exactly. Beyond following other artists that just serve up their old songs, the band has been generous and also recorded a couple of new tracks (including the title song: Unbreakable). These songs are reminiscent of the pop-factor that made the band famous in the first place: soppy, heart-wrenching ballads. While most of the songs showcase the band's vocal prowess, it does get nauseating after a while, since the only thing that separates the tracks are a change of tempo and of lead singer. For the die-hard fan or those who are interested to hear what the Irish quintet's brand of boyband music is, the album would |
