This little light is cool to look at, but not that worth it to keep.

1) The color changing is NOTHING like the picture, which was mildly disappointing... At NO point would the light have 3 or 4 colors at the same time... In fact, there's not even 2 colors that would be on at the same time.

2) The "Revolve" option is very misleading. It actually just vibrates, and not in that soft, quiet, subtle kind-of-way. In that buzzing and moving around the table kind-of-way.

3) Mine vibrated off the table, which wouldn't be that bad... But it has a little motor and battery-holder in the base, and it has a cone-shaped cover over that... (You with me? Okay. this next part might get confusing)
And instead of the cone-shaped cover ending at the bottom of the battery-holder, it has maybe a 1/2" or 1" of space underneath that, which caused mine to chip that little cone-shaped cover.

4) In order to put in the 3 AAA batteries, you NEED a tiny little screwdriver, because a regular one, a nail file, or pliers didn't help much (It took me a little while to find my little screwdriver). Personally, I own one, but I know that some people don't.

In my opinion, it's cool to look at, but it isn't worth it to buy online.
I own others that are durable, and work very well, but this isn't one of them.

I like this little light a lot. It's a great value for the price. I just wish it had an option to plug it in. It uses 3 AA batteries - very odd. Also the switch is located on the bottom of the unit - which is totally impractical. And the battery cap has a tiny screw to hold it on that I've lost already. Those dumb design errors aside, I really like this little light.

This product is cheap and chintzy. It does not rotate as advertised. In fact, the way the product is constructed, it is not capable of rotating. This was sold as a "Revolving Multi-Color Fiberoptic Light." Under Technical Details, the light is described as "rotating." That is simply untrue.

I put the batteries in and it worked for a few seconds then went off. Took them out, put them back in, and same thing. It never moved or vibrated either. What a piece of junk!

THEN, I finally figured out that you have to "cycle" thru all the colors before it works properly. There's no directions, so press the little tiny itsy-bitsy black button on the bottom once, the color is red, twice, th ecolor changes to green, press it again and again, until you see it start to "play" all the color combinations. Too bad they don't include directions.

This is a nice item. I really like the fact that the colors change automatically, so much prettier than just one color. However, I don't know what the "rotate" button is all about, as all it does is buzz loudly and cause the lamp to vibrate and move around on the table, so I don't use that option. But, as when used just for the lights, it's nice.

This item is very cheap and did not work when I got it, would have returned it if I had not had to pay shipping to return to sender. Cheaply made falling apart when we got it. Not due to packing either. Just cheap. Way over priced.

It is pretty all lit up but when you try to make it turn it's loud & vibrates off the table.

I bought this for our kiddo for Christmas and it's absolutely wonderful, and especially impressive at night (obviously). The rotate feature is great, multiple colors are displayed at certain points, and because it vibrates when it rotates, the individual fiber optics form little circles while spinning. It's hard to describe but very cool.

As others have noted, it does vibrate when on the rotate setting, so it will make a noisy rattle when on hard surfaces, and could easily vibrate off of a counter or table. We put ours on the area rug for our child to look at and it makes a quiet hum and works like a charm. It just needs to sit on something soft. Before writing this review, I set the light on a folded bandana on the counter and it worked perfectly. I'm very happy with the purchase!

This toy is just awful. We bought it to use as a night light, however the "rotation" is actually vibration so it vibrated right of the table in 3 minutes and of course the fall broke it. I also did not like that it was one piece. My mother in law has one that rotates and it is in two pieces and actually rotates smooth and quiet. This one is going back, we never got to use it.
