Westward is reminescent of the old Starcraft, Warcraft and other real time strategy games from back in the day. This game is not flashy or totally original, but it is quite a bit of fun. Basicly you use settlers to build up towns, mine gold, cut lumber and grow food so that the town can survive and thrive. You also get to hire deputies and sheriffs to protect your town from bandits. This is an altogether fun game, but I'm not quite sure it's worth the $[...] that [...] wants for it. Ten years ago it would have been worth the money, but not now. You're better off finding a cheap version here on Amazon or on Ebay. Either way I think you'll have fun with this game.

This is a fun and challenging game. The dialogue is hilarious! Great for people who like games like Age of Empires.

I love to build the towns, I love fighting the bad guys. It's not all easy going, but you have time to relax and enjoy seeing your town produce.
