About the Author

Sera Breen lives a lovely little existence in Madison, Wisconsin, with her super hot wife who served as significant inspiration in more ways than one for many characters in the book. They share their life with an adorable daughter that inspires them to live an abundant and ridiculously fun existence. Yeah, it's a utopia of sorts--that may be a touch messier than described above. Fortunately, rainbows and butterfly wings continue to saturate her world. So, who is she to complain? Show More Show Less

5.0 out of 5 stars More Please! September 10, 2013

I'm thankful there are so many lesbian stories out today but it's easy for some to slip through the cracks. Therefore I hope this review provides the opportunity for others to discover this author as well as her talented story.

I was completely captivated and a little shocked when I came to the end and realized I sat still for over 3 hours reading and didn't touch my cell phone or computer once. The way the author captured the characters' personalities and emotions came flowing through the pages and pulled me completely into their world. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Duluce and Savannah and the rest of their friends. I only wish I could read the next installment now.

Great read. Couldn't put it down and it left me eager for the next book. I don't have a lot of free time to read, but I made time with this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Time well spent September 24, 2013
By Jen
Format:Kindle Edition
This was recommended to me by a friend and I did enjoy it quite a bit. It is a decent length and a nice value at $2.99 imho. I thought Dulce was incredibly hot. She is strong and dominant and also quite the lover of women. It is established early and often that she has a "reputation". In spite of this our lead, Savannah, can't help but be drawn to her.

Both Savannah and Dulce seemed to be equally obsessed with one another and the interactions between them are very sexy. If I were to have a complaint though it would be that they don't have nearly enough interactions to warrant the depth of their feelings. I wish that there had been more than a few short conversations between the two and hope that we will see this in the follow up. Also there were a ton of foreshadowing and small plot devices that I hope the author touches upon as she continues to mold the characters. Dulce's past seems especially intriguing.

The quality of writing here is very nice and I'll definitely be looking out for the next book.

I chose this rating because... I loved the book. Yes, I would recommend this book. I found myself lost in the characters, and was not ready to tell them goodbye.

2.0 out of 5 stars Shallow, Sugary, Slow, Sensual at times September 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
The overall flow of the book was smooth and easy to read, however, the depth of character left me feeling disconnected and detached. Character development (at least for me) is one of the most important aspects of a written work. It's the magic that plucks a person out of this world and engrosses them in another. This completely lacked that for me.
The basic vein of the story is simple, however, a bit slow. The main character spent an entire 25 chapters pining for a woman from afar, who supposedly holds the key to every woman's chastity belt in a hundred mile radius. Sensual in places, it needed more "action".
The over-the-top honey and sunshine sugar-crusted life of the main character left me in a sugar coma.
Overall, not terrible. This no doubt novice author will make huge strides if she keeps the pen to the pad. To be perfectly cliché, practice makes perfect! I would love to see the end result!
