yes the vocals are Tyler-esque ... I don't see that as a bad thing. This song rocks and was written by one of the guitarists from Aerosmith. So yes it has some Aerosmith flavor to it. Again I don't see that as a bad thing.

I actually like the change here from Joe Perry. Nice subtle keyboarding, great guitaring as always. But my main problem is with the singer. Why go through all this trouble to find a singer (especially since Joe is a great singer himself) that sounds like Steven Tyler when you got the real thing!?! I mean with the The Joe Perry Project (1979-1983, not the newer version) he released 3 great albums (Let the Music Do the Talking, I've Got the Rock n Rolls Again, and Once a Rocker Always a Rocker) with three 3 singers each and they all had distinctive voices. Which is why those first three albums are so great. He didn't take your average (as far as the 80s go) singer, but instead found these three men (Ralph Morman, Charlie Farren, and Cowboy Mach Bell) whose voices really stand the tests of time and sound great, even in 2010!

Then in 2005 Joe released another solo album (simply titled Joe Perry) and he sang lead on every song, which is great because he has powerful voice. Now here is the new album and the new version of The Joe Perry Project, but instead of going out and finding a powerful and unique voice or singing himself, he decides to go for a singer that pretty much sounds as close to Steven Tyler as you can get. BUT...I repeat...BUT, overall, this song isn't bad. As I said above, great keyboarding, guitaring, as well as drumming and bass lines. Let's just hope that this song was a fluke. Hopefully he doesn't sound like Steven all the time. Either that or hopefully Joe will sing some songs as well.

Since it is Joe Perry, my inner fanboy will probably force me to buy it anyway! Despite my complaining! Haha!

So 3 Stars for a decent hard rock song.

I only got through about 30 seconds of this piece before I deleted it off my pc. Sounds like Creed or some other equally lame band.

I try to remember to check the free MP3 of the day when I have time. Boy, I am sure glad I checked today. What a great freebie! Thanks Amazon!!!
