5.0 out of 5 stars County Wexford, Ireland, Genealogy & Family HIstory,, April 7, 2005
This review is from: County Wexford, Ireland, Genealogy & Family History, special extracts from the IGF archives (Spiral-bound)
This is a handy little book. (note: it is not a coffee table book by any means.) I found it to be loaded with lots of raw information, and it gave a good overview of my families and research in County Mayo. It was interesting that most of the families with coats of arms are not old Irish families, but families that settled in Ireland over time. The arms are old and worn as it says in the book description, but that was ok as I was not looking for crisp color arms - some of the information in that section I have never seen before. All in all, it is what it says it is: 'extracts from the IGF archives', and I did find two of my family lines here, but lots more work to do still !
