Every year its like a David and Goliath fight as they hunt down the Japanese Whaling Fleet and take them on themselves to stop hunting whales in a whale sanctuary.

There are many alternatives to eating protein without resorting to murdering these gentle giants.

I've been following this show since the beginning and this is the best season yet. This follows the lives of the quirky, self-righteous, and somewhat daring activists as they try to stop the Japanese whaling in Antarctica. There are no major collisions or boardings this time but we get plenty of action, intrigue, and foibles that depict their trials or just dealing with the inhospitable environment that is Antarctica. Pacing and editing is pretty much right on, especially for those who have already seen the prior seasons. On one level the activists seem more capable and less hapless than in prior seasons, and we also see some character development as they question their own dedication or even their willingness to die for the cause.

Hi, I am not only a fan of these world-acclaimed WHALE WAR documentaries but also a supporter of the courageous & compassionate Captain Paul Watson and his Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and their dedicated crews. These people and its foremost society have been preventing the Japanese crew and their rightwinged government for killing more whales in our southern ocean by their persitent lying about "scientific research." Ultimately, the killed whale meat would end up in Japan's supermarkets, sushi bars and homes where they chomp the meat without conscience about these tender animals. I, an animal lover, urge the Western World not to be hypocrites but go all out to support this brave and dedicated Captain Watson and his sacred idea - stop the Japanese forever from murdering these tender giants. Whaling must be stop now and total ban imposed. United States, European Union, Australia, China, South America and New Zealand have an important role to play to ensure that the tender whales are not mercilessly and wantonly killed by the Japanese! There are many alternatives to eating protein without resorting to murdering these gentle giants. TOTAL BAN ON WHALING NOW, PLEASE.

Paul Watson and his crew of the Steve Irwin along with the Bob Barker and the little speedboat that keeps changing its name really put their lives on the line for the whales in Antarctica! Every year its like a David and Goliath fight as they hunt down the Japanese Whaling Fleet and take them on themselves to stop hunting whales in a whale sanctuary. If you are at all interested in whale conservation, this is the show for you!
