I was looking for something to train our mixed breed puppy, to try to train him to catch these and to return them. Turns out they are just another chew-toy for him. The only ones he has not totally destroyed are the ones I haven't given him yet. I suppose if your dog is already trained to catch and fetch these are good for them. But, an untrained half lab-part/part chow is not the dog for these.
