4.0 out of 5 stars Fun with friends
This toy is convenient if you have more than one child who wants to ride the toy. The side by side design encourages everything from racing to just plain tandem sliding. It is a little weird to have the hose running under the end 'pool' area, but that has not yet caused any problems. I reccommend this to anyone who has more than one child who would want to play. 3.0 out of 5 stars Just go with the single.
We purchased this double Slip-n-Slide for my son's 7th birthday party. We had a total of 12 guests and thought this would allow more fun all around. I would recommend to other parents, just go with the single. We set this up just before the party and were somewhat dismayed to see that the sliding lanes are very narrow. One comment: we have a well with lower water pressure than our city system counterparts. The area we have to set up this toy is a good 50ft from our faucet; this results in a declining spray from the hose connection point to the end of the slide. It does not prevent the fun, but the kids did notice that the "front" of the slide didn't have as high of a water spray.

Great product, arrived promptly. Very durable, but make certain there are no sticks/rocks/debris under slide because they will tear the plastic. Be careful where you "aim" the slide - children, especially small ones, can get a lot of distance if the slide is placed on a slight hill, so check for clearance at the end of the slide as well as debris they could run in to.

I had a party with roughly 30 kids and it stod up to 3 hours of use by all these kids and a few adults that went when I wasn't looking. Rolled up nicely and was put back in the box for another summer party.

Hooking it to a hose works just the same as with the original slip-n-slide, but with this model, water squirts both onto the slide AND out into the splash pool at the end. What ends up happening is that more of your hose water pressure is diverted to the splash pool, which makes less come out onto the slide path, and in our case, almost no water came out onto the outer slide lane, no matter how much we fiddled with it! This essentially reduced it to a single slide because there was not enough water on the far slide lane to get a good slide going. Essentially this defeated the purpose of buying a double in the first place! Our party-goers did still have a lot of fun and used it all afternoon, but truthfully this is just a glorified single slide. The little inflatable boogie boards included with this set were cute and the kids did use and like them, but any cheap Walmart inflatable wave rider would have accomplished the same effect. You know what you're getting with a Slip-n-slide. Just stick to the tried and true original version and you'll be fine!

This slip n' slide was a great success at my son's 8th birthday party. It was quick and easy to set up, worked like it was supposed to, and came out no worse for wear after a full day of use by 12 rowdy boys.

I bought this item for my son's 5th birthday party we celebrated outdoors. The slide was easy to install and the kids loved sliding on it. However, the slide was smaller than what I had anticipated. Also, when the child reaches the end of the slide, they can "burn" their skin when in contact with the plastic seam along the edge of the slide. Regardless of these details, the kids had fun and played for hours.

I bought this item to use with 10+ adults. The item did not tear after using it for 2+ hours, and it dried and folded nicely back into its box. I plan on using it again. I agree, the nozzle where the hose is connected to the slide seems poorly made. But, I was careful in attaching and detaching it, and it seems to be fine. This slide is certainly not long enough for adults, so I went to a different store and bought these Spray Zone Dash & Splash Water Slide (which are very inexpensive, less than [...]) to serve as an extension, and it worked great.

This water slide broke when we were filling the reserve at the bottom. What a piece of junk. Maybe it was a fluke, but it tore before our kids even got to slide down it.

We received a different model than pictured. The picture has the water spray from the middle, the model we received has the water spray from one side. The water does not reach the second lane very well. Making the second lane not very slippery.

Bought this for my college spring quarter and it has turned out to be really fun. Durable and lasted through a ton of college boys and girls bodies.
