4.0 out of 5 stars Read on...but careful!, March 2, 2010
This review is from: What If . . . All Your Friends Turned on You (Paperback)
This book kept me up until midnight...ON MY BIRTHDAY! Thanx a lot! I wanted some sleep! But that stupid "IV" chapter kept screaming at me. Okay, calm down...
Okay. Right. Well, Haley Miller's back, and on New Year's Eve, she finds pictures texted to her. Of boys all over models. First there's Spencer Eton, the boyfriend of popular control freak Coco De Clerq. Then there's Johnny Lane, part of a band and boyfriend of athletic golden girl Sasha Lewis. And then there's Drew Napolitano, boyfriend of pretty popular cheerleader, Cecily Watson. And then-Haley's own boyfriend, Reese Highland is among all the others. And when all the girls get together at Coco's house along with Coco's second-in-command, Whitney Klein, Coco decides they'll all diet and dump the boys.
Unless Haley decides to pursue a new boy. There's cute intellectual senior, Alex Martin, or artistic individual, Devon McKnight(If she can lure him away from the clutches of freshman Darcy!). Which will she choose? Can she maintain the "New Year, New You" diet without herself or anyone else becoming too anorexic? Can she win Devon back by playing it cool? Can she have a good birthday with Alex? You decide. But this book is harder to deal with than the others. Be careful. With nine scary choices and so many chances to choose, this is one of the best yet!
