What else can you say about an mp3? Great song. Purchase process was not a problem at all, quite easy actually.

Maybe it's much
Too early in the game
Ooh, but I thought
I'd ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year's
New Year's Eve?

Wonder whose arms
Will hold you good and tight
When it's exactly
Twelve o'clock that night
Welcoming in the New Year
New Year's Eve

Maybe I'm crazy to suppose
I'd ever be the one you chose
Out of the thousand invitations
You received

Ooh, but in case
I stand one little chance
Here comes
The jackpot question in advance

Ella Fitzgerald (born Ella Jane Fitzgerald, April 25, 1917 - June 15, 1996) was an outstanding songbird who became famous for her ability to sing jazz--and just about anything--like it was never sung before! Crowned "The First Lady of Song," Ella sang with panache and I constantly marvel at her renditions of classic songs and ballads. Indeed, according to Will Friedwald, Ella's voice was "easily one of the most beautiful and sonically perfect sounds known to man."

Ella's treatment of "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" is stellar, to say the least. She never once sings a superfluous note and I'm very impressed. The musical arrangement is very elegant and it's all easy on the ear.

I love Ella Fitzgerald's rendition of this evergreen classic. "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" is a true gem in Ella's more than capable hands and it's also very poignant.

What am I doing not just on New Year's, Ella? and by the way thanks for the Christmas album this walked off of. It's one of the few I listen to.

New Years, well I was tired from a walk through the woods. Tired and loading photos and then sick to a tummy that isn't working. Tired of those that "visit reviews" to no vote 105 visit times in two weeks and lie about it and lie about why to self and others, tired of liars completely as only you know when listening to a good jazz selection while getting that sick, tired of those with poor interpretive skills...tired of 2008.
Whose arms held me? Hum passed out tired, I held myself. My own "hero." I bet that's true for a few folks.
And passed on the Asti, not passed out on it, just, no thanks. But listening to you sing, Ella, that's enchantment, not actually this tune...till today...not on New Years... but hearing a few of your best I do like and then I remembered this one watching the Rose Bowl; it's nice to hear you smooth away my least favorite of the holidays. New Years isn't the one for me. No matter where you are you feel New Years with a mixture of oddity, dissonance, and whatever predominated this year for you. Oh that's wistful. But Ella can do it.

So can Bono but that's another review......different tune.

So what can I provide this review to bring it up to code. Fitzgerald is a premier jazz singer, Frank Loesser wrote the song back when I was young it came out. We had it on an "album." I played it as "a kid." Here's the amazingly little bit Wikipedia had, "Ella Wishes You a Swinging Christmas is a 1960 album by the American jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald, recorded in the summer of 1960, with a studio orchestra arranged and conducted by Frank DeVol.
