12/29/02 Thebook is owned by my nephew's daughter..I happened upon it and while wasn't totally enthused by 101 Dalmatians found it a very hilarious book which was well illustrated.It mirrors "de-villainesses' and invites them to look perhaps in their own mirror..(e.g. burnt toast as lunch lady ,Cruella excalims "So it's burned,Black is always in style".or as Scout Master(ophs she corrected the author "Scout Mistress to you"):Through Winter,Rain or Sunny Skies ,remember to accessorize.or as ballet teacher ""I'll bet you'll be the only sugarplum fairies in town wearing fur".

This was an imaginative book. This is a fantasy about what if Cruella De Vil and if she was your lunch lady or something else and what she would do to you and other people. This was a graet read. It was a great fantasy. Read this book if you like funny stories.

In my house when we talk about somebody our three-year-old son might know, we make up a name for them, so he won't know who we're talking about, you know, big ears and all that. Well Cruella just seemed to fit Devon's great aunt, so Cruella she is. However, Devon really liked the movie and he likes this book. We believe, my gal Sara and I, that he thinks we're talking around the real CDV whenever we bring the name up. This 101 Dalmatians spin off story, coloring book will keep your Disney loving Toddler entertained for ages. Although I must admit, Sara colored in all the excellent illustrations as Devon still has a problem staying between the lines.

This is actually a very fun book to have around and share with your child. It not only asks what if CDV was your Lunch Lady, but what if she was your doctor, mother, ballet teacher, babysitter as well and tells a little story in true CDV style for each situation and more. We like this book a lot at our house and we think you might too.
