Sheryn's sophmore album displays "What she does best". The songs she sings with such emotion and passion! She has lost that show offy diva personality she had on the last album. Which is a good thing!! She now sings with a better tone and nothing is too in your face about the songs.
I love how she has grown from trying to be Regine Velasquez and finding that her talent is much more precious than impersonating another artist. Thank You Sheryn!!! You deserve it!!
By the way, her birthday is coming up..26th of November! Happy Birthday Sheryn! Salamat Sha!

Sheryn Regis, first runner-up in the Star in a Million stint of ABS-CBN last 2004 has already made her own mark in the Philippine music industry, with her sophomore album entitled, "What I Do Best", the carrier single bearing the same title.

We all remember this petite diva through her famous songs like "Come In Out of the Rain", "Maybe", "Kailan Kaya" and more. She has been a favorite to render theme songs and is set to release 3 of this album's songs as theme songs of ABS-CBN shows. These songs namely include, "Dahil Nagmamahal" for Nagmamahal Kapamilya, "Sa Piling Mo" for the soap opera bearing the same title, and "Sabihin Mo Sa Akin" for current soap opera hit, Kampanerang Kuba.

Bearing this in mind, it simply proves how appealing her songs have become to the masses, and how she has encompassed the hearts of the Filipino people, bringing new color into their hearts.

"What I Do Best" laid off of fast and upbeat songs, and clearly defined the genre that this Diva belongs to - a whole genre of love songs and ballads. A mix of revivals and classic hits, together with potential charttoppers from Filipino composers, old and new, her sophomore album will captivate the hearts of lovers and bring back the romantic memories of anyone who would listen to it.

The tracks start off with the carrier single, "What I Do Best", which would relate to women who willingly give their all when it comes to love. As the tracks progress, you encounter a showcase of different love songs, and as you reach towards the end, you will hear her rendition of Whitney Houston's "(Try It) On My Own", which aptly finishes the cuts of the album, as it is very spiritually uplifting and inspiring at the same time, and the gospel appeal with the backup quartet gives it a perfect finishing touch. In Total, you are to experience one of the most romantic times of your life as you go through the songs of this very beautiful album.
