EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Is there anyone out there who hasn’t wondered what the Tooth Fairy does with our teeth? I know I have, and so has my son. After you read “What Does the Tooth Fairy Do with Our Teeth?” you will wonder no more! This cleverly rhymed children’s book is loaded with refreshingly unique and playful ideas of what the Tooth Fairy might do with our teeth, and the illustrations are lively and fun. You’ll love the twist at the end too! This book is sure to become a classic bedtime story, so snuggle up with your child and prepare to be enchanted! ~Karen Salmansohn, best selling author, Oprah columnist

Denise Barry must have a wireless connection to the child there is somewhere within all of us. Maybe it's her life-training as a sibling and a parent. Maybe it's something within her. But Denise is that unique adult who can reach into the crannies of the collective imagination and bring forth situations and images that are utterly entrancing to the child-mind. Her impish, unassuming verses dip and swish like the whimsical flight of her Tooth Fairy, drawing child-readers into their spell of rhythm. The bright, articulate, inviting illustrations of Andy Boerger are the perfect accompaniment. Innocent but contemporary, "What Does the Tooth Fairy Do with Our Teeth?" ought to be an ideal experience of sight, sound, and song for the ages for which it is intended. One senses that with her Tooth Fairy, Denise Barry is just beginning. ~Mason Winfield, author

I'm so happy there is a book that promotes thought-provoking creativity in young children. This is such a special time in children's lives. I think that reading What Does the Tooth Fairy Do With Our Teeth? helped us celebrate that. This book really holds a special place in my heart. http://www.afulfilledmommy.net

This book has quickly become one of my children’s favorites. One of the great things about this book is that it explores all the possibilities of what the Tooth Fairy uses teeth for. The images in this book are absolutely beautiful and the Tooth Fairy is what every child imagines her,or him,to be:playful, creative, mischievous…or maybe that is adventurous, and just a bit of a trouble maker. This story is brilliantly fun for answering the question every child asks, what does the Tooth Fairy do with our teeth? ~parentingchaos.com

With four young children I consider myself an expert on children's books! I am always looking for new explanations and fun answers to their incessant "Whys". Mrs. Barry's imaginative explanation of the Tooth Fairy has inspired the kids to think of their own. A book that inspires creative thoughts...priceless!

The Tooth Fairy is always an exciting event in my family, but she only comes up when a tooth comes out. Seeing our kids' faces light-up with excitement and a little fright that their tooth just fell out, always make us, as parents melt. The book "What Does the Tooth Fairy Do With Our Teeth?" will make it extra special! It will help the kids to really use their imagination. I highly recommend that you make this book part of your children's collection and read it to your kids as part of your celebratory tradition! We all really enjoy this book so much and I know you will too!

This book was well anticipated! The best thing I have had to wait for since I had to wait for my granddaughter to be born. My granddaughter and I have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival and when it finally came she shouted, "Hurray!" We immediately read it. And read it again and then again. Had it not been for bedtime we would probably still be reading it! Lovely images really lend to the prose and made us ooh and ahh at how cute the tooth fairy is. She had a us giggling together too. The possible answers to the question were delightful to discover and the rhymes were so fun to read. We really love this book! In fact I loved it so much I am still rhyming! Amani is giggling at me and there is no better sound to my ears. Fun! Thanks Denise and Andy for your efforts and for adding to our conversations about imagination and how lucky we are to have it.

What does the Tooth Fairy do with our Teeth? Is a charming book for all ages to challenge the imagination on "What DOES the Tooth Fairy do with our Teeth?" There are so many possibilities of what she might be doing with them presented throughout the book, yet the magic of the Tooth Fairy remains intact. Perhaps it is best that we don't know what she does with our teeth, but continue to imagine all of the possibilities. This is incorporated into the book via a contest - what a fun approach to get our imaginations going. The book is beautifully illustrated, playful and thought provoking. It would be a great addition to any child's book collection.
