About the Author

Pastor Forrest Moore is entering into his 31styear as a preacher of the Gospel and his 24th year as a pastor. Heis the proud Shepherd of the Westhighland Missionary Baptist Church at 628 29thSt. Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is the proud husband of a loving and supportivewife, Emma, the proud father of two loving children, Reginald and Britanica. He has earned degrees from Bible College andseminary and is currently Professor of Old Testament at the Tuscaloosaextension of Birmingham Theological Seminary. He is a gifted preacher, teacher, and evangelist, a "preacher's preacher." He has a heart for the training ofyoung ministers for the work of the ministry. His preparation for the writingof "What Every Preacher Should Know" was first hand. He has 13 preachers whocall him "Pastor." Four of who are currently pastors themselves. Theresponsibility for their training necessitated the construction of a manualthat covered enough preacher-related subjects to adequately prepare those ministersfor effective ministry. This is his first published work, however, if God bewilling, it won't be his last.
