5.0 out of 5 stars An easy and accessible starting point, May 25, 2000

This review is from: What is Fibre Channel? (4th Ed.) (Mass Market Paperback)
Jan Dedek's book is an excellent resource for readers wanting to start learning the basics of Fibre Channel technology. The drawings and diagrams are very clear and to the point. This book does not have the depth of other books in this area, but depth is not its goal. It is an excellent primer written by an expert in the field. I started my own education in this industry by reading this book several years ago.

This book was a great way to understand where fibre channel isnow and where it is going. As an integrator. . . of fibre channel and SANs it helped me gain perspective on how my designs today will be applicable tomorrow.
