5.0 out of 5 stars HIS BEST HANDS DOWN
All across the board the songs are classics, the goat, ode to my car, mr bako, dip doodle, respect and the chanukah song. You name it, he did it. The only not-up-to-par spots are some of the excited southerner bits, and the one-joke hypnotist. Still, this is his best, if you like adam sandler but dont know which cd of his, pick this one! DO NOT PICK Stan and Judy's...

3.0 out of 5 stars The Cow and The Car make it a worthwhile purchase!
I listened to this CD on the beach the first time, through headphones. When I got to the Ode to My Car, I started chuckling. This is a very funny song. But when I got to The Adventures of The Cow, I thought I would die. The effort of not laughing, or howling perhaps, aloud on a crowded beach was considerable! I have now heard this 20 times: it still cracks me...

DO NOT PICK Stan and Judy's Kid, it is not quite up to his standards. The other two are solid also. Buy it. Im done.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even funnier than They're All Gonna Laugh At You, March 1, 2006
The Goat is one of the funniest skits I have ever heard and no matter how many times I hear it, it leaves me in tears of laughter. Also of note on the Album: "Mr. Bake-O" "Steve Polycronopolous" "What the Hell Happened To Me"

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny Stuff, December 26, 1999
This is funny stuff. Not as stomach hurting funny as "They're All Gonna Laugh At You.", this one has some changes. There are more songs, and Adam like the 'f' word, (especially in "The Goat"!) All in all very funny, especially "The Hannukah Song" "Whitey" "Ode To My Car" and "The Goat." A little too many 'f's' but it's too funny to pass up. This was his last superior CD, before blowing it with "What's Your Name" and only slightly reviving with "Stan and Judy's Kid."

4.0 out of 5 stars This CD is hella-funny!, October 18, 1999
By A Customer
I like this CD a lot. If I'm in a bad mood and need a laugh, all I need to do is pop in this CD. My favorite songs are "Crazy Love"& "Mr. Bake-O", and my fave skits are "The Goat", "The Adventures of Cow" and "Sex or Weight lifting". "The Hypnotist" is kinda drawn-out and nasty, though. I'd recommend this CD to anyone who likes humor like Adam's.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Enough Songs, October 14, 1999
By A Customer
Don't get me wrong...I'm a big Adam Sandler fan. The coolest skits are "Do it for Mama," "The Goat," "Sex or Weightlifting," and "The Hypnotist." The best songs were the classics- "Ode to my Car," "The Chanakuh Song," and "Steve Polychronopolous." The Excited Southerner series was a bit hard to understand and I don't like the song "What the hell happened to me," but other than that, it was cool. Also, check out "Memory Lane."

5.0 out of 5 stars NOW I'M ONLY HAPPY WHEN I WATCH GIRLS PEE...., October 14, 2005

I may have said that his first album was the best. Well the first album was pretty god damned funny, but this thing is sheer comic BRILLIANCE! The skits AND the songs, all good. Except for the brutally un-funny THE HYPNOTIST skit (sorry Kevin Nealon, I couldn't handle the seven minutes of farts.) But everything else is incredible! The songs are SO cool. I actually saw him with his band in 1996. I was thirteen and I had a blast. I would go see him again, but now he's to busy making movies like SPANGLISH!
THE CULT, RESPECT, DO IT FOR MAMMA, THE GOAT, SEX AND WEIGHTLIFTING are the ones that instantly come to mind... "we are definatley f'ing..., there are no weights or dumbells in this room...just my balls, ssssh baby my mom will hear."
"OWE! F me in the goat A!"
"So after lunch why don't you go out back and play with your Cawkinballs?"...."MAAAAAA!"
"GOTTA RESPECT THE CONDOM"...."You F'in moron! RESPECT THE CONDOM, he's F'in five years old!"
And more great stuff like that. By the way there is a parental advisory on this one in case you were wondering.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Cow and The Car make it a worthwhile purchase!, September 1, 2000

Many of the tracks go over my head. Even the farting hypnotist I only found mildly amusing. The excited southerner was funny the first couple of times, but quickly loses its appeal. The Do it for Mamma song was embarrassing. But if my house burns down tomorrow, this is a CD I would have to replace. If only for the cow!

5.0 out of 5 stars Its Funny, August 5, 2000
While the skits on this album aren't as funny as the ones on Sandler's previous album, They're All Gonna Laugh At You, the music on WHat The Hell Happened TO Me more than makes up for it. Many of the songs on here are Sandler classics such as "Chanukah Song" and "Dip Doodle", many of the other songs are great as well. The only downside to this album is that the skits aren't as funny as they are on THey're All Gonna Laugh At You, and many of them seem to be lacking something. Though most of the skits aren't as good there still are some great skits such as "The Goat" and "The Hypnotist". If you like Adam Sandlers other albums or his work on Saturday Night Live you'll enjoy What The Hell Happened To Me.

4.0 out of 5 stars ROFL (rolling on the floor laughing! ), September 25, 2000

Even tho most of Adam Sandler's work is slammed by the critics as being asinine and sophmoric, appealing to teenage boys, etc., this 45-year old woman had a ball with this album. "Ode to My Car" is both hilarious and quite danceable, and describes a car many of us have had in the past. "The Hypnotist" had me screaming--pardon me, but fart sketches crack me up. I guess it's the kid in me.

Seriously though, Adam Sandler has a beautiful voice and, while at times quite vulgar, I enjoyed this example of bizarre creativity!

(REAL NAME)
When I bought Sandler's first Cd, "Their All Gonna Laugh At You!", I was a little dissapointed. I enjoyed it, but, it was a little freaky. So I wasn't so quick to buy "What the Hell Happened to Me! But then when my friend told me about it, he said that it was hilarious. So I dicided to give a try. Boy am I glad I did! I remember the first time I listened to it, I was reading a book, one I couldn't put down, and I was crying I laughed so hard! Respect was so hilarious, Sammy was so funny, "Respect the Condom!" it's hilarious! Do it for Mama is just as funny, Sandler is sooo funny immatating the perverted mother! Even if it was reapeted over and over again, the Excited Southerner makes me laugh sooo hard, even know, after I've owned the Cd for more than a year! There may not have been any point at all to The Hypnotist, but it was hilarious! Ode to my Car, the funniest song on the Cd. The Chaunika Song is the only song without swearing, but the lyrics are brilliant! The Cow was stupid, but still, I can't help cracking up! The Goat, it sooo funny, Sandler is perfect at immatating, in each song giving his voice it's own personality.

So, any Sandler fans, or just comedy fans, this is the Cd for you!
